Can you really sculpt 3D models in a browser?
Yes — Re:Form runs a full 3D sculpting engine in desktop browsers on WebGPU — Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari 26. Every brush, sculpt layers, masking, symmetry and remeshing, and it stays smooth at millions of triangles because the mesh lives on your GPU. There’s nothing to install, and the Free plan needs no card.
What do I need to run Re:Form?
A desktop browser with WebGPU — current Chrome, Edge and Firefox work out of the box, and Safari 26 (macOS Tahoe) ships it too — and a reasonably modern graphics card. That’s it: nothing to download, nothing to install, no updates to manage.
Is the Free plan actually usable?
Yes — it’s the full toolset, not a demo. Every brush, sculpt layers, masking, symmetry and remeshing, up to roughly 12.5 million triangles, with OBJ import and export. It’s limited to personal, non-commercial use, and there’s no card required and no watermark.
What does Pro add?
Three things: the full 50-million-triangle budget (four times Free), STL, GLB and FBX import and export alongside OBJ, and a commercial license so you can sell what you make. It’s $9.99 a month or $99 a year — see pricing.
How is Re:Form different from SculptGL and older web sculpting tools?
SculptGL and older web sculpting tools were built on WebGL-era technology; Re:Form’s engine is written for WebGPU from day one. The mesh stays resident on your GPU, so strokes at millions of triangles feel like strokes at thousands — performance stays smooth as the polygon count climbs.
Where are my sculpts stored?
Your session autosaves in your browser, and you can save native .clay files — which snapshot everything, layers included — anywhere on your machine you like.
Which file formats can I import and export?
OBJ on every plan, both directions. Pro adds STL, GLB and FBX, also both directions — so scans, game meshes and print files flow in and out of your existing pipeline.
Can I 3D-print what I sculpt?
Yes. Export an STL (Pro) or OBJ (any plan) and send it to your slicer like any other model.
Can I use my sculpts commercially?
On Pro and Enterprise, yes — your work is yours to sell. The Free plan is for personal, non-commercial use.
What happens if I hit my plan’s triangle limit?
You keep sculpting at that density — every tool still works and nothing is lost. The limit only stops further subdivision; upgrading unlocks the next levels immediately, mid-session.
How do I cancel Pro?
From your plan chip inside the app, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling keeps Pro active until the end of the period you’ve paid for — no emails, no phone calls.
Does Re:Form work on phones or tablets?
Re:Form is built for desktop browsers, where WebGPU support and GPU power are strongest today. A good mouse — or a pen display plugged into your machine — gives the best sculpting feel.
What version is Re:Form on — is it stable enough to use?
Re:Form is currently v0.6.4 Alpha, and we ship fast — new brushes, engine speedups and workflow polish land all the time. Alpha means things change, so we’re upfront about that. Browser autosave and local .clay saves protect your work, and the Free plan means trying it costs you nothing.
